Based out of Leeds is Eeade, and today sees her new track get its release. Titled "When She Fades Away", it's a mix of post-rock vocal hooks mixed with alt-folk and even art-rock sounds too.
a raw, cinematic alt-folk punch that’s as honest as it is unforgettable.
It's a confident track by the singer-songwriter, and vocally, I'm reminded of the raw and powerful delivery of The Big Moon, with this track also offering plenty of emotional hooks.
It's cinematic as it's rather bare, but also that lends it to be more raw and honest, so you can easily hear her vocal delivery and musicianship fully. Her storytelling lingers throughout the song, and with her sound that she's made, it gives it a very distinct flavour - unmistakable.
If you liked this song, then the single release on Spotify has all of her previous singles acting as 'b-sides', so be sure to get stuck in.
