One thing that struck me was a sound that I loved a few years back when I discovered old Four Tet and Burial tracks, but this seems to have more soul on it - primarily down to the hypnotic and addictive vocals that sound like an angel has encountered a vocal equaliser setting.
"Low Key" to me is a bold, immersive statement from an artist ready to ascend, and ironically enough, won't make him low key any more and will hopefully push his name into the hearts of thousands (and beyond).
