MERTDER drops the new protest anthem, "Glass"

London-based MERTDER's new single "Glass" is the type of track that will hit you with full force from the very get-go. On this cur you'll hear it be very fierce, with a bass-driven burst of alternative electronic rock from the very off.

... a fierce, bass-driven alt-electro protest anthem reflecting political frustration with industrial edge.

The politically charged vocals come in shortly after, and it's then that you'll hear the very alt-rock track that is infused with quirky electronic textures to give it a very industrial feel.

Speaking about the chorus, "I can see through you like glass", MERTDER mentions - "it mirrors the cyclical nature of political rhetoric and public frustration. It's a protest anthem, holding up a mirror to the illusion of transparency between governments and citizens."

With the UK seemingly at odds with itself once more, we will always need acts to speak up and share their frustration through music. There have been so many high-quality acts through the years, and by the sounds of MERTDER is at the new wave of acts to take on this challenge
