The new offering sounds like it's perfect for those who grew up on Squeeze and anything adjacent to that sound. The lyrics are more of a poem to me, easily painting a picture in my head, taking me on a journey.
One thing that blew me away was that this is a solo project, as it sounds so cohesive throughout with plenty of charming percussion that'll have you tapping along unknowingly. From teh blooming chorus to the crisp production, it seems that The Domi has everything on offer in this new single, and if the upcoming releases are even half as good as this, then they might just be breaking out of France to venues all over Europe.
