Rotterdam’s The Smackbar has teamed up with Eruption Artistique to drop their new tune, "Donnie Giovanni". The collaboration is a frantic and wild garage rock explosion that fuses alternative edge with DIY charm.

From the beginning, it bursts open with a haunting synth tone, very orchestral in places, and then shortly after, a frantic burst of drumming comes in to get you stomping along.
It's very nostalgic in places, reminding me of the late 90s where bands were pushing boundaries, and this track certainly sits there with the best of the alt-rock bunch. The scorched guitar was a highlight for me, and when you mix in some rebellious vocals, it becomes more of a folk-come-punk tune for the modern ages.
With over a year of meticulous production in Charlatan Studio, the video for "Donnie Giovanni" is a visual feast!
