Coming out of Los Angeles is Dream Bodies, and once more, the act has delivered another brooding masterpiece with "Omens". The new single is a haunting blend of post-punk, darkwave, and 80s-inspired cinematic rock, with some massive nods to the likes of Joy Division, with echoes of Interpol's darker tones too.
... a haunting post-punk and darkwave cut steeped in 80s cinematic gloom, echoing Joy Division, Interpol and The Cure with intimate, melancholic force.
The track, the seventh single from Steven Fleet’s solo project, was the last track to be released in 2025, and that past year has been a real winner for him as his music has evolved and reached plenty of new fans.
A deeply intimate track in ways too, we feel like this is suited for fans of The Cure as well as the aforementioned other bands. We were charmed by the atmospheric pull and melancholic charm, so be sure to open your ears up to this bold new offering.
