Erudition reveals the vibrant new single, "Toy"

From the heart of England in Swadlincote is Erudition, and today sees the act return with their new single, "Toy", a raw and nostalgic track with hints of Ska to Alt-Rock from 40 years ago.

... a raw, ska-tinged alt-rock throwback channeling brooding 80s vibes into a bold, one-man evolution.

The fresh new single is very much that, fresh. The bright entrance with the guitar is a welcome change for me, and it really got me invested early on. The moodier vocals may get an overlook from some, but it has the same tones as those 80s British alt-rock bands that were all the rage, think Joy Division if they were a bit Ska.

The track channels frustration and emotional neglect into a brooding, pop-leaning alt-rock tune. Impressively, he performs every element himself, so think of this as a true solo effort! It's a really bold evolution of his previous sound, and if the rest of his forthcoming singles end up sounding like this then the Derbyshire act may be on the lips of many.
