Harsh Language reveals their big new track, "To Nothing"

London trio Harsh Language last week unveiled their big new single, "To Nothing", and it acts as the first single to be lifted from their debut album, "Time Won’t Wait For You".

... a dark, shoegaze-tinged rock anthem blending Cure-esque nostalgia with modern electronic punch.

It's got this huge dark-rock sound to it, reminding me a bit of The Cure in places, but with a decent blending of shoegaze haze added in for extra crunch. There are also hyperpop textures in the form of the percussion, with some soaring vocals that (once again) remind us of Robert Smith.

The electronic edge to the track is hard to forget about, too, giving it that general appeal that can grip thousands of new fans. It's atmospheric without being too intimidating; there's a soft underbelly to it all that ensured that I played this on loop for a good few plays.

With a decent amount of nostalgic sounds mixed in with modern textures, this song is going to do a lot for them heading into the campaign for their debut LP.
