Brighton-based duo Check Mirrors have today burst onto the indie pop scene with their debut single, "Best Ones". The debut single from the duo is a smooth and gentle take on the alt-pop sound that is usually found within their scene.

The band has focused a lot here on the dynamic voice of Tim, all the while with it ebbing and flowing over a jazzy key tone, crisp percussion and some sensual basslines. Unlike others on their scene, they're going out and out on their debut single, with a fantastic array of voices heard on here, so good it sounds like a soulful Matt Bellamy.
The groove is seductive here, and as the track progresses, it just becomes more infectious. Just be sure to stick this on your late-night playlists as this sounds like it was written for those long nighttime drives in the Summer.
