The new offering is incredibly bold from the get-go, with a strong vocal opening that steadily builds up within the first minute before exploding just after the 1:30 point into a cinematic sound that the likes of Lana Del Rey and Banks would absolutely adore.
It's cinematic, full on, and has plenty of sounds that will be enticing new and old fans alike. "The Other Side of Town" feels rather gothic in terms of its vocal approach, a bit haunting in places, but there is this delightfully sweet and reverb-laden guitar underneath it all that helps to bring the track to life
This to me sounds like Heddy Edwards has arrived, and she is going to be taking everything with her hands, taking the playlist by storm and hopefully bursting onto the scene, not just in Arlington but all over the USA.
