Hastings-based dream-pop outfit Korda Korder return with their new tune this morning, titled "I Was Your Witness", which is once more a great example of why the band are being highly talked about amongst critics.

The new offering is the first from the band in 2026, and they're keeping true to the cinematic sound that's got them to where they are today. "I Was Your Witness" is a breathtaking wash of shimmering guitars, expansive synths and hushed, ethereal vocals, with some tones similar to those of the laidback Swim Deep songs, Beach House and Alvvays.
The shoegaze and dream-pop sounds are still here, and this effort sounds to us like it could be the one that pushes them into the limelight even more. Subtly intimate and yet atmospheric too, it's a great entry point if you want to get into one of the South Coast's rising bands.
