The new single from Seán Julian is out today, titled "Pùca" it features Amy Ellen on the release and is a dreamy introduction to an artist who clearly understands the emotional pull of atmosphere.
... dreamy shoegaze textures, emotive vocals, and rich alt-rock atmosphere into a mellow yet intensely captivating track.

The strong guitar tone worked wonders with the hazy voice on the intro before some shoegaze-sounds walzted into the song to create a vibrant and yet dark alt-rock tune.
The tempo is rather low, but the emotional pull is high, with the same going for the sheer talent of the vocals. I'm getting reminded a lot ot Slowdive in places with the emotive side of The Cranberries and The Big Moon.
"Pùca" has a grand sound, and as the song goes on by it evolves right before you. I especially loved the chunky bassline in the final third mixed with the jangly guitar sounds. Mellow and yet intense, this is a cracking track from one of Co. Meath's very best.
