There is something to be said about the music coming out of Canada. It always seems to carry a strong sense of quality, and every time I come across an artist from there, I immediately want to hear what they have to offer. Blush. certainly did not disappoint. The rawness of 1990s grunge, mixed with synth textures that would fit perfectly within an 1980s synthwave track, creates a glorious atmosphere that hooks you from the very first listen.
At times, it leans into shoegaze territory, with a hazy undertone running throughout. The song also features some stunning guitar moments that are guaranteed to leave you wanting more.
