Tabitha Zu returns with the nostalgic new song, "Heard It Before"

London, UK outfit Tabitha Zu return with "Heard It Before". The new song from the band is only their second release since they started dropping music earlier this year with their debut offering, "On Reality".

... a dreamy, shoegaze-infused throwback packed with intensity and hooks that suggests Tabitha Zu are a band on the rise.

This new cut is more of that dreamy underground sound that enveloped the UK in the early '90s. It's shoegaze at its core, with a ferocious percussive section that reminds me of the early, angsty sounds of Oasis mixed with the more direct and stunning sounds that The Cranberries had. Fronted by Melanie, the song is incredibly intense, with some gorgeous vocal hooks that certainly got us hooked from the first play. Even in my initial notes, I had lots of superlatives written down before the two-minute mark had even come around.

Even though the band has just shy of 200 listeners on Spotify, this feels like it could be the turning point for the outfit. If you like your incredibly nostalgic, '90s-driven guitar music, then be sure to check out this band before everyone else does.
