Tiger Adopt returns in striking fashion with "MORTLAKE"

London, UK-based Tiger Adopt returns in striking fashion with "MORTLAKE". The incredibly immersive song is a blend of dreamy shoegaze sounds mixed with electronica and runs for over seven minutes, giving you plenty of time to get stuck into everything that Tiger Adopt has to offer.

... a mesmerising seven-minute journey that blends shoegaze and electronica into an immersive and rewarding listen.

The layers of washed-out guitars blend perfectly with the atmospheric synths, soaring soundscapes, and his breezy vocals. It's a rather intricate song at its core, and, as you'll find out once you move past the halfway point, it is a very cohesive track that is sure to boost his monthly listeners tenfold.

It's got a subtle 1980s electronic vibe to it in the second half of the song as well, reminding me at times of New Order and, more recently, Manchester-based Delphic, who are now back on the scene making music once again.

With tens of thousands of plays to his name, there are certainly more great sounds from Tiger Adopt to get stuck into once you're done here. Once you've finished with this single, be sure to check out his 2024 EP, "Intersital Static".
