Based out of Singapore, Firefly Search Party have recently revealed their upbeat and sprightly new single, "Sing Me a Song".
... a sprightly, joyful indie folk-pop gem filled with catchy dual-vocal harmonies and infectious rhythms.
The duo have been working on music since 2019, and the new offering is only their third release since 2021, but by the sounds of it, this new track is a glimpse into what could potentially be coming in the future.
The female and male vocals interweave with one another, and the track is driven by a rather joyful indie folk-pop sound with a real drive behind it percussion-wise, offering you plenty of chances to get your feet tapping along.
It is one of those clear-cut catchy tracks that will have you heavily invested in the song on the first play. As we found out on the first play, you'll potentially end up heading into their back catalogue to line up a few of their other tracks. One personal highlight for me is the single "Stay".
With the city-state of Singapore not having too many musicians coming out of it, I feel like this duo could be one of the rising stars within their scene. Be sure to listen to them before they start breaking out of the country and into the wider world.
