London-based singer/songwriter Joshua Woo is back with his cinematic new track titled "The Typewriter". What you find on this track, Joshua kicking off, is a very violin-driven sound backed up with electronic percussion. It's a real kaleidoscope of genres bubbling away and eventually erupting into a cinematic section with strings and moody guitar tones.
... a self-produced and moody masterpiece blending sweeping strings, electronic beats, and dramatic alt-rock flair.
Joshua is the kind of artist who is not afraid to mix things up, and since he has been releasing music from the start of 2021, he's been refining his sound and has now landed on what you can hear today.
The new single is the third to be released from his upcoming debut album, "Remove The Name", and it is very gothic-leaning, with synth textures and plenty of alternative rock moments.
This was entirely written and self-produced by Joshua and highlights his sheer skill, so do be sure to give him a visit if you notice him performing near you.
