Hailing from Singapore, Firefly Search Party have unleashed their captivating alternative side on "Take A Look". One thing that struck me from the get-go is that they blend male and female vocals together. On the intro alone, I personally have to say that I was hooked into the track.
... a warm and charming blend of folk-tinged indie featuring irresistible dual vocals and authentic Americana flair.
The delicate chimes gave way to some melodic vocals that led swiftly into the opening verse, and as soon as those guitars came in, it felt almost Americana at times.
The track is very much leaning towards the folk side of things and is built upon a rich sound that certainly invites listeners to get all curious. It's very authentic, I must say, with an underlying warmth that will have you checking out their previous tracks. Since they've been releasing music since 2019, they've certainly refined this, and the last few singles, including this, have showcased that they are ready to break beyond their local scene.
If you like this song, then be sure to check out their previous effort, "Sing Me A Song", as that was also another track that we found to be very addictive. If you're into charming and upbeat male and female vocal pop music, then be sure to check out Firefly Search Party.
