SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Coming out of the LA scene is The Afro Nick and his debut single, "Get There Before Noon (LA mix)" - I say debut as it appears to be the only track on Spotify. ... a vibrant fusion of indie, alternative, and psychedelic rock As soon as we enter the track, we're greeted by his warm and embracing sound, pulling us into its unique atmosphere immediately. There's a very art-rock-sounding guitar with some angular tones; combine that with his direct, emotive vocals, and the track starts to work its way deeply into your conscious. It's quite psychedelic in places too, and when the chorus comes it elevates the track even more with cascading drums, expansive guitar solos, and a euphoric sense of melody that lingers long after the music fades. Spillway shares their stunning new single, "Honest Song"

Coming out of Woodstock in New York State is Spillway with their raw new single, "Honest Song". The charming new cut is in collaboration with Calica, and if this is what happens when these two acts come together then we need a full-on album as it's simply gorgeous. simply gorgeous Vocally it's one of the most tender things I've heard recently, and when you're deep in the song you half forget that this is a sub-three-minute cut as you're seemingly taken away from reality and are immersed. The instrumentation on "Honest Song" is very simplistic in nature, but incredibly effective. The acoustic guitar is at the forefront of the single, with a sliding country-sounding tone wallowing away in the background which adds more depth and flavour to the song. Spoiler warning... Get ready for Weathership's epic new album, "Splendid Beast", as this is a nine-track collection of tracks that'll be sure to get you hooked on their sound. The whole album is a concept that takes the listener on an exploration of life’s greatest duality, fear and love - with that in mind lets head right in and get stuck into the first trio of tracks. The Teeside-based quintet did not hang about one bit with the first track on the album "Golden Age", as it's one incredibly atmospheric affair with over a minute of sonic sounds interwoven with guitar sounds that are kissed with reverb. Vocally it's very dark and showcases the band perfectly if you ask me. The following two tracks "The Blue" and "Through The Fog" go into a different direction with the former sounding almost like a Wild Beasts song with the percussion and charming bassline seemingly seducing me in an instant. Coming out of the music scene in Copenhagen is Benjamin Rajani with his new single, "Mánakvøld." Translated into "Monday" and "Moon Night" the name of the track is rather fitting, as this new single sounds like the perfect track to ease into the week with, and also for chilling out to. ... a sublime track to sink into no matter what The song is in Faroese (a language from the Faroe Islands) and even though I know a couple of European languages sadly I'm not too familiar with this one, but I can easily tell you that there's plenty of emotion behind it.
