Fresh off their set at Long Division festival headlined by none other than The Cribs, the Yawning Dog boys have released their track 'I've Only Got One Ghost', an eery Pixies-esque song which boasts punchy drums and a solid bass line supporting guitar drones and crunchy feedback layers.
Yawning Dog consist of Sam Womersley, Joe Prochera, Daniel Wearmouth and Ryan Laws. Hailing from the small northern town of Hemsworth, the boys are constantly releasing fresh new tracks so make sure to keep those eyes peeled when you see a next grunge nugget appear from the group.
Next month Yawning Dog are releasing a double A side entitled 'Doll/Torso Dojo. The release will be on October 13th. This will coincide with a single launch on the 16th at Parish, Huddersfield. Make sure you get yourselves to it if you're in the area!
