So Jamie XX's solo debut album came out last year, and it had his fellow The XX band-mates lend some vocals to it too. Jamie said about LP3 - "We've learned so much from making 'Coexist'. The first album was basically just us putting together everything we'd released at that point, and we had more control in how we wanted an album to sound overall on 'Coexist'. That's something we’ll try again, however the new one ends up sounding."
And with the big festivals announcing acts left right and centre there's two major UK festivals yet to announce their headline acts, that's Reading & Leeds as well as Glastonbury. The band closed The Other Stage in 2013 and are easily big enough to headline The Pyramid, and with a new album around the corner I can see that a huge possibility.
