Field Day 2017 have just announced an incredible second wave of names to perform East London's Victoria Park this summer including:
ABRA, Âme (live), Arab Strap, Beak>, Clams Casino, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids, Kite Base, Lady Leshurr, Machinedrum, Manuela, Marc Riley, PC Music presents A.G. Cook, Danny L Harle & more, Pictish Trail, Rae Morris, Run The Jewels, Sinkane, Thee Oh Sees and Forth Wanderers.
Run The Jewels, set to close the Eat Your Own Ears outdoor stage this year, remain the most uncompromising and impressive rap duo in years, fresh off the back of a surprise release of their critically acclaimed third album RTJ3 featuring Danny Brown, Kamasi Washington, BOOTS and Trina and more. Renowned for their lightning quick, politically charged lyrics and colossal production, El-P and Killer Mike are welcomed back with open arms after one of Field Day 2015's standout performances, bringing unimaginable energy in abundance when they close the main stage on Saturday 3rd June this year.
This talented array of new names will join previously announced headliner Aphex Twin, who will close Field Day’s brand new breathtaking indoor second main stage arena 'The Barn', not to mention further performances from Flying Lotus, Jon Hopkins (DJ), King Sunny Ade, Moderat, Mura Masa, Nicolas Jaar, S U R V I V E and Whitney and more in what's shaping up to be one of the most exciting lineups of the summer.
