Danny Suede shares the sun-kissed new tune, "shadows on the pavement"

Bursting out from Spokane, United States, is Danny Suede, who has recently released his new track titled "shadows on the pavement". The new offering from the American singer-songwriter has already shot to the top of his most popular songs on Spotify, and I can easily tell why from the very first minute. ... a shimmering, uplifting slice of bedroom pop that feels made for sunny days. The opening sequence of the song is a delicate balance of acoustic guitar mixed with his serene vocals and a dash of electronic pulses just to get you all warmed up. For me, the fusion of bedroom pop and alternative pop sounds reminded me of an early Ed Sheeran as he was about to take over the British music scene. With that in mind, it sounds like Danny is also going in that direction. The Race are back with their emotional new offering, "Family Tree". The new track from the Reading outfit is their third of the year and is a fantastic snapshot into their sound. ... a triumphant comeback anthem lacing 90s Brit-rock nostalgia with crunchy, shoegaze-drenched guitars and personal heart. The new single is a part of their brand-new EP titled "Family", and it turns a conversation between vocalist Dan and his son into a very guitar-driven anthem that anyone listening to it can relate to. It's got plenty of crunchy guitar hooks with an abundance of shoegaze draped over it for good measure. Think of Pixies, Placebo, and The Cranberries, all mixed in with an undertone of the late 1990s Brit-rock scene. London-based project Summerhouse drops their second-ever single, "Burn All Night". The follow-up to their debut single "All I Know" is a sonically charged dream-pop song with plenty of electronic soundscapes flowing throughout. ... a hypnotic, Hackney-bred hit of dream-pop and synth-driven electronics that signals a bright future for East London's newest prospect. It's got plenty of synth-pop features with some arpeggiated synths, cascading drum patterns, and a smattering of guitar hooks to really give it that edge. The Hackney music scene has always been known to produce some great underground artists, and considering that his debut single was released just last month, Summerhouse is certainly making a name for himself. Last Crash unveils the cinematic new cut, "Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone"

England-based outfit Last Crash has recently shared a cinematic masterpiece with "Will You Miss Me When I'm Gone". ... an epic, rain-soaked cinematic masterpiece built for massive festival main stages. Led by singer-songwriter Darren Clarke alongside producer Matt Cotterill and keyboardist Lorna Keene, the UK act has recently released quite the stunning new offering. What is more astonishing is that this is the outfit's second-ever single, but it sounds like the kind of track that has been written to close the Glastonbury music festival on a Sunday (whilst there is rain pouring throughout the sky and flags fluttering everywhere). It is incredibly cinematic, with some stunning vocal hooks and charming guitar work that interweaves with strings and epic tones. Delta Fire return with the emotive new song, "The Worst of Everything"

Hailing from Glasgow is the alt-rock four-piece Adiltifier, and they are back with their brand-new track, "The Worst of Everything". The powerful new song is their fourth single since forming and has a big whiff of the 1990s about it. ... a colossal, arena-ready Glaswegian anthem that fuses 90s Oasis guitar riffs with raw, grunge-drenched emotion. There are some hints and nods, perhaps to Manic Street Preachers with their vocal approaches, alongside some massive guitar elements that could easily be lifted from an Oasis track. The subtle grunge grit on their track is fantastic, and it really helps to bring more layers into the song. Coming in at nearly 5 minutes long, this is a massive effort from the Glaswegian outfit, and for me, it is going to be standing there as one of the best tracks they've released to date. Based out of Los Angeles, DIY pop artist and Toy Story 3 star Emily Ricks is back with her upbeat new single, "Can't Catch Me". This is not the first time that we have written a review of one of her songs, and you can probably see why from how upbeat her music is. ... a vibrant, 2000s-inspired indie pop gem bursting with infectious energy and synths. Growing up with new music in the late 2000s, I was exposed to a lot of vibrant and upbeat indie pop songs, and this reminds me of something from that era—something that, for example, The Ting Tings would have put out. It has got clean basslines, smatters of synths, strong female vocals, and an upbeat drive that will just have you moving your body in all shapes. Hailing from New York City is Laji George, who is the frontman of Pseutopia. He has recently delivered a fantastically powerful new solo track titled "Washed Away". The strong new cut focuses a lot on his stunning vocals, which remind me in places of Chris Cornell. This is the fifth new single to be released by him on Spotify and is also a track lifted off his upcoming album, "Out of Line". ... a slow-burning, Cornell-esque powerhouse built on dark guitars and raw emotion. The powerful new single is their second release of the year and is only the second track to be released by them since 2021—so think of these two singles as a comeback, and what a comeback it is! ... a explosive, heavy-hitting comeback single packing massive riffs and grit-soaked vocals that demand your full attention. The strong, dark track is filled with massive riffs and crunching vocal hooks, with a modern rock bite that has plenty of melodic hooks and powerful guitars. Hailing from Haugesund, Norway, is Mainstreet, and they are back with their brand-new single, "Living by the Sword". ... a highway-ready, 80s-inspired soft-rock anthem dripping with heartland charm and Springsteen-level warmth. Having come out on the Friday just gone, this new song delivers a real, authentic 1980s hook with plenty of vibes that seem like they were perfectly designed for your road-tripping needs.
