Lemon reveal baggy new single "Love Can Take You Places"

Bursting right out of Amsterdam, LEMON have today (28/05) released their baggy new single "Love Can Take You Places". Lemon are Mark Bongers (bass/vocals), Paul Hesen (drums/vocals), Ralf Hesen (guitars/vocals) and Thomas Gense (guitars/keyboards/percussion/vocals), they come together back in the early 00's and have been releasing music ever since.

The new cut is the first slice of new material from the outfit since their 2019 album, "The Fifth of Lemon" and is a massive step for the band as we can see it being played a lot and possibly even ending up getting viral.

With love coming from all over the world from as far reaching places such as Australia it seems their music style transcends countries and continents. The style of their latest cut reminds us of the pre-brit/pop era with massive nods towards the likes of Happy Mondays and even The Stone Roses.

Having had their previous album being praised by Dutch music journalist Swie Tio as he ranked it #6 in his Top-10 of best albums of the year back in 2019. So there's definitely something that the band is doing right, creating cathcy tunes one after another, basically Lemon are a hit factory!

With splashes of Brit-Pop and Psychedelic the band have really made a track that I loved from the first play, with even more plays coming after. It's just a highly addictive song that you'll find yourself ramming into your playlists as soon as you hear it. Lemon could quite be one of the biggest hidden gems within the kingdom of The Netherlands, we can't wait for more
