For those who grew up in the 00's and early 2010's the sounds of Russell Lissack were heard almost everywhere. His band Bloc Party were well known for their frantic songs, rushing anthems, and some incredible live shows.
Taking to Twitter yesterday he revealed that he's been working on some solo music, saying "I had lots of musical ideas in my head and used it as an opportunity to collaborate with people around the world when travel wasn’t possible."
The EP is titled "Algorhythms" and is out Jan of 2022 - you can hear the lead single that features Jonas Bjerre of Mew below.
