London based singer-songwriter Ella Bee has just recently released her expansive new single, "Underwater".
The song was written in one of the many UK lockdowns with Ella mentioning - "It explores how sometimes goals seem impossible to reach" going on to say "It's about letting go of things you believe are important to make space for better things to come."

Ella has had a steady rise since she started releasing music in 2020 but this new cut blows them all out of the water - for me anyway. There's a brilliant build-up with more layers getting added to the song right before it explodes into a chorus, with her vocals soaring through the sky, reminding us of a young Amy Lee.
"Underwater" is one of those hidden gems that you'll appreciate a lot more after a couple of plays, mainly down to the sheer majesty of it all you need two plays to listen to all of the various elements. Be sure to follow her on Spotify to never miss out on future releases.
