Hailing from Huntingdon, WV is Jim Polak with his jangly new tune "This Evening", the new single acts as his third release since he started dropping his tunes back in 2021.
Having recently signed to Exclaim Records - a label that focuses on acts from the Appalachian region of the East Coast - he has been a rising act on the local scene with his lo-fi sounds and warm vocal tones.
"This Evening" is the kind of track you'll warm up to pretty damn quickly, it's so charming and sweet.
"This Evening" takes a bit of a step away from his previous two singles with the addition of more prominent guitar tones, which are incredibly jangly and remind us of parts of The Smiths - especially at the start of the song. Vocally Jim's tones are warm and have a slight surf-pop vibe about them.
