Hailing from Vienna, Austria is Yunger and just recently he has released upbeat new single, "Smile", of which is lifted from his new EP also titled "Smile". The new single is the lead off the EP and was releases just two weeks ago, it's also his first release since 2021's single "Slug".
"Smile" is both wholesome and charming at the same time, we love it!
One thing is obvious as soon you click play, it's upbeat and beautiful from the get-go. The fast-paced acoustic guitar gets the BPM of the track up to that sweet spot where your feet are tapping and is borderline dangerous if you're on a run as I'd most likely find myself sprinting as it's that fast.
Vocally Yunger is very strong with subtle country tones laced upon the folk twangs, and to top it off the lyrics on "Smile" can easily be sung back - you can see it now, a field of fans chanting it back to him! What a lead track this is to have on an EP, "Smile" is both wholesome and charming at the same time, we love it!
