Cascade, from Guildford, released their snappy new track "Another Day" last week, and it's a piece of pure nostalgic rock. Since forming five years ago, the four-piece has shared stages with BlackWaters, Himalayas, and even Camens - all of whom we adore.
"Another Day" includes mesmerizing guitars layered on top of one another, tumbling rhythms, and a bass that keeps your head bobbing throughout.
Cascade is clearly influenced by Oasis and the 'BritPop' movement of the 1990s from the start of the single - I understood that even before they produced a version of an Oasis song. The intro is very "Heathen Chemistry" before it explodes with some oompf. Then the vocals come and are forceful, literally sucking you into the song with you feeling like you should be chanting the lyrics back at them.

Cascade has found themselves on multiple Spotify Editorial playlists as of late, and it's no wonder with bangers such as this showcasing them in front of tens of thousands of eager listeners. They are certainly a rising rock band that we're keeping an eye on, and if you love DMAs, Oasis, and Arctic Monkeys then be sure to drop them a visit on their social channels.
