The Horn return with a strong new single, "Do It Now", which is lifted from their debut EP - both of which are out today! The latest single acts as the outfit's fourth of the year and sets the tone for future releases as it feels like the culmination of a solid year's work - so far!
We said they meant business earlier in the year in a previous review and it seems like the band is following through with the promise, we're loving this!
"Do It Now" is one of their strongest singles, the delicate blend of airy synths mixed with strong indie-rock guitar tones of the mid-2000s era has been pulled off sublimely. The track reminds me of Franz Ferdinand and Blossoms mixed with the crunchy tones of the late 90s Britpop acts and vocally it's soft to the touch and is captivating all the way through.
