Yorkshire's Sandra's Wedding has recently released their strong new offering, "One Horse Town", which acts as the first new piece of music since their 2021 album "Pleasure Grounds". The new single is the first from their forthcoming EP "Another Rugby League Town", and from what we can already hear it's going to be a solid EP.
Soaring guitars with punchy percussion
The track starts off with a bang with soaring guitars drenched in fuzzy pedals and punchy percussion before the vocals come in. The vocals honestly remind me a bit of The Manic Street Preachers mixed with Stereophonics, there's a big brit-pop grit sound here that we just love.
The strong guitars and raw drumming is heard throughout the whole track and keeps the BPM nice and high so that you'll find body-parts bopping along and tapping away in no time. With love from the BBC, BBC Radio 6 Music and multiple Spotify curators already the band are making big strides not only within their local scene but further afield.
