Utah's The Starkillers just this Friday gone shared their soothing new single, "Here With You". The new offering is just their third ever and is a mellow affair with strong vocals being the key element in the single.
With their first two singles "Are You Thinking of Me" and "Close to the End" being more alt-rock/indie-rock sounding this is a lovely change of pace from a band that's making big strides in their local music scene (and beyond).
The Starkillers have made a track they can be incredibly proud of!
It's evident to hear from the off that this is a more mellow track, you're welcomed with tender acoustic guitars and vocals that wouldn't feel out of place on a folk track. Even with the percussion they keep it tender and with a low BPM to get you relaxed.
Vocally it does get more anthemic, especially in the chorus it reminds me of Coldplay as it's just so damn captivating. It's a romantic track about wanting to be with the one you love dearest, and with the track picking up towards the end you'll feel an emotional connection to the track. The Starkillers have made a track they can be incredibly proud of!
