I say it time and time again, debut singles are where it's at! Today we've got Wise Up's debut single, "Conjure the Feeling", which has since been joined by another tune "She Likes It".
The track is the first slice of music for one of Dublin's up-and-coming alt-rock bands, taking influences from the 1990s rock scene with hints of Pixies and The Smashing Pumpkins heard within the guitar tones especially.
Dublin always has great acts coming through it's scene and Wise Up sounds like they're in the next batch of talented bands.
It's a very angsty song with rolling guitars backed up with ferocious drums and hazy vocals giving the listener that they're in the mid 90s American rock scene and not in the emerald isle.
Having been jamming together since March of 2022 it sounds like they've got a good combination of sounds going on with a tempo that'll be certainly getting people to groove and mosh in a live setting.
