Based out of London is a rising new quartet, Midnight Shoppers is their name and as of late they've dropped their new single, "Animals". The new tune acts as the first slice of music since they released their 2021 single, "Vertigo".
With infectious beats and delicious guitars, it's got it all!
The band cites Foals, Arcade Fire, and Radiohead as key influences, and you can easily hear that from the intro as the soaring sounds heard screams Arcade Fire.
The song name is absolutely fantastic considering how frantic it is, we've got incredibly infectious beats (and don't get me started on the cowbell, such an underrated instrument) that got me tapping up feet in no time. The guitars are both soring and full of life, it's great to hear a band who has really nailed their sounds on the head.
