The ever amazing The Trusted have today unveiled their brand new single, "Marrow", which is the Southend-based outfit's third outing of the year.
The single has a bright and cheery intro which reminds me a lot of The Beatles and Keane, but once the vocals come in I get big nods to the likes of U2 and Inhaler. In fact this sounds like it could easily a song written by Bono and The Edge as it's so anthemic and filled with atmospheric tones.
... the song is so uplifting that it fills my heart with joy every time I listen to it.
Speaking about the song the lead singer, Tom, says " ... "Marrow" as a desperate indie new wave inspired anthem that delves into the concept of wanting to become inseparable from someone's very being." Even towards the latter half of the song there's a swirling guitar, the song is so uplifting that it fills my heart with joy every time I listen to it.
The Trusted as so consistent in their songs I already know their next song is going to be stunning, so be sure to follow them on the socials!
