Lazy Sunsets share their upbeat new tune, "You. Possibly", which is the first since they dropped a quartet of singles back in 2023. The new tune is carrying on with their signature sound and for the Gold Coast-based band that seems to be a major reason they've done well since launching just over a couple of years ago.
Nostalgic pop for the modern audience.
"You. Possibly" is a very upbeat alt-rock anthem with a smattering of electronic sounds swirling around it to give it added depth. If you listen to it enough you can hear a delightful synth flowing through it, which really compliments the somewhat angular guitar sounds and direct vocals.
The breakdowns just before the chorus for me are one of the highlights for me, and if I have to be truthful it encouraged me to delve into their older tunes too. With a strong vocal performance on the track too it sounds like Lazy Sunsets are gearing up for a solid year!
