Wotts drop their upbeat new tune, "Wilson"

Those legends at Wotts have just yesterday dropped their fourth single of the year, and this one is titled "Wilson". The single is the second to be lifted from their upcoming EP, and I have to admit that if the EP is even half as good as this song then it could be one of the best releases of the year.

These two are by far one of the best kept secrets in the Canadian music scene.

The band say that the new single is inspired by Tame Impala and Brothertiger, with the former sounding almost as if it's a collaborator on the song as it's so polished.

Vocally it's part dream-pop and psych-pop, with tones that feel almost like you're in a charging car on teh freeway doing 100mph. Speaking about that, the pacing of the track is so well set that you'll be itching to bop along to the track within a second of it starting.

The pace Wotts are going with the quality of their music is sensational, and I for one will be following them forever. These two are by far one of the best kept secrets in the Canadian music scene.
