Brett Matthews drops the indie-pop banger, "Lucky Ones"

Hailing from Cape Breton in Canada is singer-songwriter Brett Matthews with his new single, "Lucky Ones". With well over 200k streams on Spotify in just over two years it's a rise that the folks in the music industry love, but here at It's All Indie it's the sort of stuff we crave to get on board with.

Smooth and jazzy indie-pop perfection.

One thing that we loved from the first listen is the blend of smooth jazzy tones balancing off with a dream-pop undertone. The chorus for me is where the track, and of course, Brett shines, with his vocals seemingly soaring above it all like a dainty cloud in the sky.

"Lucky Ones" is so uplifting throughout and the power of Brett's vocals is there for you, me and everyone else to fall in love with. In addition to all of those smooth tones is a saxophone that just gives the track that chefs kiss, perfection.
