The ever-amazing and consistent Australian singer-songwriter Stefan West is back with his mighty new tune, "paint me how you see me".
One of Stefan's most powerful tunes, both vocally and instrumentally.
Speaking about the track Stefan says - " ... "paint me how you see me" is a little punk rock n' folk anthem about a life long friend" going onto say "I always wanted to capture all of my life experiences in one body of work, to be as real and honest as i could, and to paint a wide landscape of what it meant to be alive during a period of time."
The new tune hits me right in the feels from the get-go. Stefan's vocals are fully on show here and highlight how tender Melbourne can really get before the bright and powerful guitars punch through with a big beat backing it up.
The tune feels almost like an anthem from the 2000s mixed with jangly guitar sounds that you'd expect to hear from arena-selling bands. In fact, I feel almost as if this was written for the festival stages as it's got that urge for you to engage in a feel-good singalong!
