Tracks released by Wotts and reviews on It's All Indie seemingly go hand-in-hand, and just recently has seen the Canadian duo drop their new single, "Boy + Girl". With the band seemingly growing up and beyond with every release I tend to head into their new tracks with expectation, but even now I can't help but get my head around how huge this new single is.
I can't help but get my head around how huge "Boy + Girl" sounds!
The levels of funk on this track is at the same level as Foals, with some clean percussive moments that will give you an urge to bop along, all the while mixed in with licks of guitar that'll have you craving more.
Vocally it's more of the same hazy delivery as before, but if it's not broke don't fix it. I feel almost like a broken record saying that Wotts are on the cusp of something big, but if you look at their Spotify stats something seemingly is about to happen, so strap in.
