Coming out of the Bristol music scene is Naomi Johnson, and just yesterday saw the singer-songwriter release her fourth-ever single, "Mistake". The new cut is also the first of the year for her, and now the long wait is over what do we have? A vibrant alt-pop song that sounds like a Glass Animals tune with even more soul.

Speaking about the song she mentions that it's 'a big step-up' for her, and if this is the new sound then we feel like Naomi Johnson will be all over the scene in the South West of England in no time. The track adds in vocals from Dwaine Hayden to add some more depth, and to be honest we feel like this was the cherry on the cake!
Speaking more on the track Naomi says - "The song captures the male perspective I experienced, the repetitive conversations and stale mates I was met with."
The smooth vocals are perfect with the harmonies offering up the listener some sort of RnB vibe, but without it alienating those alt-pop fans. The alt-pop sound is very strong on this with a dizzying amount of synth tones mixed in with high-tempo drumming.
