Since coming onto the scene earlier this year singer-songwriter Emma Styles (professionally known as E S) has released a couple of singles that have both got over 20k in streams each. "Window" is the new cut and it's once more the sound that her fans are familiar with.

So smooth and equally haunting.
The opening is very pulsating, and even though the tempo is low it still packs a punch. Vocally it's moody, emotive and has plenty of smooth notes that sound almost like maple syrup to your ears. Of course, there's always that comparison to the likes of Billie Eilish but I feel like the range that E S has is so much better.
The track is even better considering that it was produced and recorded in her bedroom, with the track even having at times 40 layers of vocals - I guess that's why it feels so smooth to the ear.
