Nashville-based artist Dawning has just earlier today released their stunning new single, "Want That", with it being his first single since 2024's "Blue". Previously we picked up on his single "Ennui", and going from that to this is a four-year gap, but what that has done is give us a big insight into how he's evolved his sound.

Previously the anthemic and upbeat nature of his songs bring in plenty of atmosphere with big vocal moments, and "Want That" is less of the urgent sounds but it focuses more on the level of production and the soulful vocals.
It's certainly more of a 'relaxing' track compared to his previous two outings, but this still sits up there with the finest work he's put out. So if you like big electronic tunes adorned with synthy sounds and electronicly-charged vocals then be sure to dive into "Want That", right now!
