Hamburg's own Fake Plastic have recently shared their stunning indie-rock cut, "Don't Go to Work", and right from the get-go on the first play it sounded like a classic rock tune with the blend of 90s and jangly guitar sounds.
... a retro-tinged indie-rock cut packed with jangly '90s guitars, raw grit and swagger.
It's got an intro that's over a minute long, offering you plenty of time to sink into the sound they've got. The song is also the first slice of music from the band since their album came out in February of 2025, and if the new batch of tunes sound like this, then we may have yet another album from an emerging band to look forward to.
It's got a retro feel to it, with raw grit and edgy vocals that are filled with confidence. So if you love your 90s-tinted rock tunes, then be sure to check out this sublime new offering from one of Hamburg's rising bands.
