The Couriers reveals their tender, new track, "Smooth Skin"

If you're looking for a finger-picking song that'll send your mood into a warm and cosy setting, then this new single from Toronto-based The Couriers might be just what the doctor ordered.

... a flawlessly tender, finger-picked gem that wraps you in warmth and sets the tone for a seven-track debut that feels nothing short of heaven.

The tender and intimate new single is a stunning introduction to their debut album; it's quite simply put a flawless acoustic track that highlights why the Canadian band has got their local scene wrapped around their finger.  The fresh sound of this track reminds me a lot of the acoustic Bombay Bicycle Club album, as there is a sense of indie-rock melodies underpinning it all with some dynamic percussion and sweet backing vocals.

I have to stress, this is not a review of the album, but if the opening song is this good, then you and I (along with everyone who listens to this) have to check it out - spoiler alert, it's seven tracks of heaven.
