"Compromise" by Reduction in Force is the second single from the San Diego act, and the new single lands as a powerful closing statement in the project's six-song release arc.
... a dark, anthemic indie-rock closer from Reduction in Force that blends post-punk revival textures with sleek production.
The new cut is very rooted in alternative and post-punk textures, with some incredibly sonic sounds that took us back to the post-punk revival scene in the mid to late 2000s. It's a fantastic blend of Interpol sounds, New Order production and with a sleek dark edge to it.
Produced by Alex Aldi, the song fuses anthemic indie rock with a sound that can entice new and old fans alike. This is a fitting finale to his six-track collection of songs that easily captures Reduction in Force's sound for all to hear. A great gateway track into his sound if you will.
