Based in Malmö, Sabina Chantouria delivers a stunning emotional performance on the song "Can't Let You Go". It's a crisp, laid-back rock tune that has plenty of moments for you to get hooked into.
... a nostalgic, soft-rock gem with cinematic warmth and standout vocals that linger long after the final chorus.
It's cinematic, and with her incredibly smooth vocals, much like velvet draped over honey. The chorus is very fresh, very upbeat, with a distinctly 1990s undertone to it, as far as I'm concerned.
That soft rock appeal is something that got me invested from the get-go and even in my initial notes. I was praising how nostalgic this felt at times, how this made me feel like I was back in the late 1990s in the summer, driving around in my parents' car.
This is for sure a track that is going to bring Sabina out of the scene in Sweden and onto the wider scene in Europe. Be sure to keep an ear out for those jangly guitars. That was, on a side note, another moment where I knew I was going to be delving deep into her back catalogue.
