Miami-based singer-songwriter Patrick Doval returns with "Rocket to The Moon". This cut is a return to form for him, fusing vibrant retro guitars with some new wave sounds.

I absolutely loved the intro, as it reminded me a lot of The Cure in places, with its guitar sounds and effects. When the track fully came to life, Patrick's vocals were certainly there, with a hand sticking out welcoming you into his sound.
The track blends lots of emotional vocals with some solid alt-rock instrumentation, giving you plenty of chances to smash your head along and to get stuck into the lyrics. It's a very grunge, almost hard-rock anthem. With this being his first since 2024, it sounds like Patrick is back to what he's doing best: proper rock tunes.
