Translucent Veil drop the chunky new tune, "The Veil"

Translucent Veil, a North Carolina rock powerhouse based out of Raleigh, have recently dropped their self-titled debut EP. The lead track from the release is the song titled "The Veil", and is a fantastic example of how a band can grip you onto a full release from the very first song.

... a rich, texture-heavy rock anthem fusing late '60s and early '70s psychedelic power with alternative guitar tones and moody vocals.

The outfit have been in bands individually throughout the years, so obviously they have really refined their sound, and you can easily hear that with the raw energy of those late '60s to early '70s psychedelic and hard-rock sounds.

It's a very rich track with plenty of textures and has a decent smattering of alternative guitar tones, along with some deep and moody vocals dotted throughout.

It's very classic at heart, but also sounds as fresh as anything else that's been released these days. If you like what you hear, then obviously be sure to check out the other five tracks on their release, including a near 20-minute track titled "Seasons Must Change". For me, that's the kind of song that you need to stick on with some really good headphones, so be sure to give that a spin if you can.
