The Night and The Dirty reveals their new single, "Little Girl"

Seattle, Washington's The Night and The Dirty deliver a compelling blend of alternative rock, post-punk, darkwave, and surf-infused textures on "Little Girl". The expansive intro sounds to me like it's got an electronically charged ukulele, perhaps with some bright tones, washed over with some expansive drum patterns. ... a kaleidoscopic indie gem packed with quirky hooks and endless replay value. It's very quirky, and the intro is absolutely sizzling. As soon as those vocals come in, it reminds me a bit of the moody sounds of Morrissey and The Smiths. The atmospheric backing for those vocals is nothing short of sensational, and with the quirky electronic sounds swirling around the track, this actually helps to make it all come together in one kaleidoscopic sound. Brook Fox releases his stunning debut EP, "Everybody’s In Love"

Coming out of Burry Port in Wales is Brook Fox, and the artist's new EP is a four-track strong release filled with upbeat indie rock gems that sound like they are destined to be performed on the biggest stage at Reading and Leeds Festival. ... a confident, festival-ready indie rock EP from Brook Fox blending nostalgic hooks, cinematic moments, and modern guitar-driven energy. The opening cut, "Together", reminds me a lot of Vampire Weekend and Two Door Cinema Club, with the intro giving me massive throwbacks to the late 2000s music scene. The second track on the release is titled "Rome", and this, for me, is a great example of what he is all about. It's got a slow-burning intro and then erupts into a solid indie rock anthem just after the one-minute mark. If you like the sounds of Twin Atlantic and Biffy Clyro, then this is the kind of song that'll tickle your fancy. Moving into the second half of the EP, you find the track "Anywhere With You"....

The North East of the UK has been awash recently with brilliant singer-songwriters, all thanks to the likes of Sam Fender, showcasing that there is a strong scene still in that part of the country. ... Johnny Pears makes a strong debut with "Night Crawlers", blending indie rock, hazy vocals, and North East UK songwriting charm. This debut song from Johnny is a compelling blend of indie rock mixed with some alternative sounds and a somewhat psychedelic and quirky synth tone that underpins the track throughout. Vocally, this is also quite hazy, with sounds that remind me of the surf pop scene that was bubbling around the UK during 2012 and 2013. For a debut, this is nothing short of strong. Based in England, Matthew James Aylett delivers "Past Goodbye". The new song from the English singer-songwriter is the first since his self-titled album was released back in 2023. This is quite the comeback for the artist, and this track also doubles up as the title of the EP of the same name. ... a raw, emotive folk-infused return packed with atmospheric depth and authentic songwriting. Today, we're focusing on the track itself, and it is a crisp track that has plenty of rich atmospheric folk licks on it, blended with his incredibly emotive vocal tones. It's an incredibly organic track with lots of instrumentation that hasn't got any effects on it. Even if it does, it's very minimal, as this is something that just feels so raw and so authentic. With fewer than 100 people currently listening to him per month on Spotify, we feel like those numbers are only going to double every week. SAMSARA. drop their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP"

Coming out of New York is the brilliant and stunning SAMSARA., and the band have recently dropped their big new tune, "IN TOO DEEP". The quintet have a sound that can rival any of the big alt-rock bands that are currently dominating the worldwide music scene, and based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol. ... based off this track they're going to be the next big guitar band to emerge from NY since the likes of The Strokes and Interpol The pacing of the track is great, and even from the get-go there is a somewhat danceable backline that'll no doubt have you tapping your feet. The guitar sounds on "IN TOO DEEP" are so infectious, a blend of post-punk and alt-rock with the perfect amount of fuzz to give it more depth. Vocally strong too, you have to admire this emerging band for the smooth vocal approach to the track and its clean melodies.

Martin Kuiper continues to build momentum from Ruurlo, Netherlands, with "So You Left Me With A Smile". The track is part of a five-song EP release, which is made up of five different versions of the same song. It seems to be a track that dates back to 2022, as you can see from the EP release. There is a session dating back to that year; however, this lead track is the 2026 version. ... an upbeat, infectious indie rock track blending pop sensibilities and Britpop flair, signalling a rising European talent with breakout potential. The track comes in at under three minutes long, but it's one of those punchy indie rock cuts that is laced with pop sensibilities, and a drum beat that can get anyone tapping their feet along. It reminds me in places of Vampire Weekend mixed with a little hint of Britpop. A very unique blend, but for me, it was a sound that got me very interested within the first minute.
